004 - Driftwood Hook
CA$40.00
This uniquely-shaped driftwood piece, was found beach combing near Port Renfrew, BC, at Pacheedaht Beach. The beach sits at the estuary confluence of both the Gordon and San Juan River watersheds, both of which have been logged of their first-growth forests almost entirely. Still, the campground at Pacheedaht, hosted by the Pacheedaht First Nation is one of the best basecamps for those wanting to experience the pockets of original-growth forests that still exist and see some of the world's largest trees including Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir - dominated old-growth forests.
